   Video released by the NYPD shows plainclothes ICE officers running at Oscar Belgal's parked car in Marble Hill with guns drawn, Spectrum News NY1 reported. DHS says Belgal rammed two government vehicles, his lawyer says his 5-year-old was in the back seat, and Bronx DA Darcel Clark is investigating.

   Mayor Mamdani said Sunday the city has no warrant for Oscar Belgal and that he refused to have the NYPD detain him without one, and renewed his call to abolish ICE, Gothamist and ABC7 reported. NYC-DSA demanded Mamdani fire Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch even though the NYPD was not at the shooting scene, the New York Post reported, and DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said the agency will release body camera video.

   Gothamist reported that Oscar Belgal was discharged from NewYork-Presbyterian Allen hours after the Marble Hill shooting and is held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where his lawyers say a bullet is still lodged in his body and agents had no valid warrant. DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said the agents who fired are on administrative leave, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told Target to stop letting ICE use its Bronx parking lots as staging areas, El Diario NY reported.

   Judge Paul Oetken barred the deportation of Oscar Belgal, the man shot by an ICE agent in Marble Hill, while his habeas petition is heard, and Bronx DA Darcel Clark said her office is investigating the agents' actions. City & State reported that Mayor Mamdani spent two hours on the phone with Trump and DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin and failed to win Belgal's release. Mullin said Mamdani refused an offer to put Belgal in NYPD custody, while a source told Documented the city declined because there was no warrant to hold him.

   An ICE agent fired seven rounds into a car on Marble Hill Avenue in Manhattan with a 5-year-old in the back seat, hitting driver Oscar Belgal, 28, in the neck, Gothamist reported. DHS said agents were arresting him over a grand larceny conviction; Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said the NYPD had no involvement before the shooting, and about 300 protesters clashed with police outside the hospital.
